This is part of the big wall display in the Hall of Biodiversity just outside the Ocean Life room in the AMNH. The lobster is absolutely huge. I have no idea what the thing in the jar of dubious yellow liquid is. Probably a sea cucumber... I love the eclectic mix on this wall and have plenty more chunks of it that I want to come back and draw. It really does reflect the huge biodiversity on earth. But it gets crowded - especially in the mornings with school groups - and you have to remember your stool to sit on as all the displays are quite high up and hard to see from sitting on the floor.
